Most VCADD problems are related to issues with its configuration files. Because those files are not deleted or overwritten when VCADD is uninstalled/reinstalled, uninstalling and reinstalling usually will not solve the problem.
You can make VCADD use a fresh set of configuration files by renaming its System folder while VCADD is not running. The next time VCADD starts, it will detect the missing System folder and create a new one with fresh, default configuration files.
If that solves the problem, you can copy your old configurations file to the new folder one by one until you find the problem file.
If you continue to have problems, submit a helpdesk ticket.
